Anuradha Koirala won the 2010 CNN Hero of the Year Award in November. And deservedly so. Anuradha is in her sixties, a native of Nepal who has dedicated her life to rescuing women and children from sexual exploitation. Her organization, Maiti Nepal, located in Kathmandu, works to intercept girls trafficked between Nepal and India. To date, she has helped rescue and repatriate over 12,000 girls. Congratulations to you, Ms. Koirala! You are an inspiration.
