Four Californians snuck into Burma with a video camera and one mission: to document the plight of the Karen People who have faced violence, displacement, military occupation and genocide for the last 60 years. Watch the documentary here.

  1. Moving, touching, heartbreaking. It’s so hard to believe that things like this are still going on in the world. As Americans we think it is such a free country and we live such a great life. This absolutely breaks my heart…..what brave young men that went over for this mission and put their lives on the line to change the world.

    1. The Karen people as well as most ethnic minority hill tribes in this region are facing wars on all sides – wars of violence, statelessness, poverty, desperation, immobility. I’m surrounded by this sad reality every day.
