Buddhists do not accept a creator. They prefer to think of self-creation. Ultimately the creator is one’s own mind. As long as one’s mind is impure, the result is that negative and unwanted results will follow. But once one’s mind is purified and enlightened, then all negative results have ceased and positive results follow.
Buddhism is a human religion and has nothing to do with God. It mainly deals with how to behave oneself and how to train one’s own mind. But it does not mean that Buddhists do not accept higher beings. From the point of view of experienced or enlightened higher beings, there is not only one God; there are thousands, millions of gods. We accept that. All these deities are manifestations of one being, or, in some cases, just the creation of one’s own mind.
